Department of Labor awarded Truss with Pilot Project for Transforming Unemployment Insurance Systems

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 16, 2021 (San Francisco, CA) Truss, a software company specializing in digital transformation and human-centered design, was contracted by the Department of Labor to deliver a pilot project to transform the unemployment insurance experience. Under this project, Truss will design, develop, and deliver functional prototype(s) for unemployment insurance. The Department of Labor is also partnering with the United States Digital Service (USDS) for this effort.

Truss is thrilled for the opportunity to tackle this challenge, as improvements to this system will benefit thousands of Americans. One of the earliest projects we did at Truss was participating in the effort to fix healthcare.gov. This award from the Department of Labor is continuing this tradition for us, and we are honored to contribute to the transformation,” says Everett Harper, Truss co-founder, and CEO.
