We pride ourselves at Truss on putting our money where our mouth is. We are a diverse group, and care about hiring people with varied backgrounds and experience. People who have had work experience prior to becoming developers tend to possess many of the characteristics we value: they're driven, focused, and have a pragmatism we appreciate when it comes to getting things done. Coding bootcamps have proven a fruitful hiring stream for us; in fact, six of our engineers attended one (don't worry, we love CS degree holders as well!!).
We've run across some interesting blogs this week about outcomes for bootcamp grads, and how they compare to people with CS degrees, and thought we'd share with you.

And of course, stay tuned for our upcoming post "7 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting at a Developer Bootcamp", by bootcamp grad and Truss engineer Emily Chen!
