Michael Burstein graduated with multiple honors from Berkeley School of Law in 2006. Immediately after law school, he worked for an international diplomatic mission to Sarajevo and then later as a human rights advocate in Phom Penh where he helped launch the country’s first public interest law organization. He then spent a decade as a civil litigator specializing in complex cases and appeals. Michael has now brought his superior strategic and analytic skills to TrussWork’s team as General Counsel where he will oversee Truss’s legal operations, equity, benefits, and compliance obligations.
Outside of work, Michael can be found playing with his daughter, reading science fiction, cooking in the kitchen, or playing tabletop or video games.
