Misty lives for the victory of hard-won progress. She cut her teeth developing software in 2004 at Thomson Reuters by working on freecme.com, healthcare’s first and largest free CME service. For over a decade, she lived and worked at motley enterprise and academic organizations in Spain, South Korea, Hawaii, and California before returning to Atlanta. She comes to Truss from fintech. There she she worked on applying identity verification mechanisms to Bitcoin payment processing for the purposes of mitigating money laundering.

Misty earned her M.A. in Rhetoric, and is somehow never chosen for jury duty when this becomes known. Singing poorly does not stop her from participating in karaoke. She relishes fiction, doggos, coffee, crazy laughs, unflattering costumes, and dance parties.
