Research and Design
Sarah is a user experience designer who hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys the challenge of learning about what people need and then making tools that are engaging, accessible, and beautiful. Previously, Sarah directed the design team at GuideStar where they collected, analyzed, and published information about all U.S. nonprofit organizations and foundations. Earlier in her career, Sarah spent several years as an urban planner/designer, facilitating planning processes and developing interactive digital tools for campus and municipal clients across the United States.
Sarah holds a Master of City Planning degree from MIT, a B.A. in Linguistics, and a B.S. in Conservation & Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She's passionate about art, plants, ultimate frisbee, and exploring the great outdoors.
