Andrew Nelson
Research and Design
Andy is a researcher, designer, and civic technologist in Boston, where he investigates how design and innovative technologies could best be used to improve public services and opportunities for civic engagement. Before that he led design and research at IBM for products involving emerging technology, like quantum computing and blockchain, and worked a number of development jobs before he discovered design was his real passion. A while before that, he worked with the Public Design Workshop and Institute of People and Technology while earning his degrees at Georgia Tech.
