Claire Remmert
Research and Design
Claire is a User Experience Designer who has worked in every phase of the design process, from strategy and research to visual design and engineering.
Claire is one of many with a winding path toward a design career. While completing her undergraduate studies in Communication and English at Trinity University, she discovered a love of writing code, and later finished a 12-week bootcamp to learn frontend web development. Working as both a software developer and designer, she was able to combine her interests in digital products and human communication, finding her place in the field of UX Design. Since then she has passionately advocated UX practice as a way to improve outcomes for both private companies and civic institutions. She has worked for organizations ranging from national sports teams (Go Spurs Go!) to local startups and nonprofits.
While she was born and raised on the Oregon coast, Claire has lived in Texas long enough to feel like a native. She currently resides in San Antonio with her husband and two cats, and in her free time enjoys gardening and games with friends.
