Gaby DiSarli
Research and Design
Gaby is a UX Designer based out of Austin, TX. She received her bachelor's in Illustration at California State University, Long Beach in 2015, and her master’s in Communication Design at Texas State University in 2021.
In a previous life, she spent seven years as a graphic designer working with clients in the non profit, museums, and music industry. While studying UX design at Texas State, she taught Typography courses to undergraduate students and subsequently developed a strong passion for readable type.
Her design & research interests lie at the intersection of technology and death studies. She’s passionate about death-sensitive design and works to evangelize the practice within the UX design community.
When not working, you can find her practicing life drawing, at the movies, or hiking the creeks with her dog and husband in Austin.
