JP is from her beloved, beautiful New Jersey. She loves JavaScript, thorough documentation, and the creativity of building things with code. A background in both engineering and design helps her achieve her main goal: to build tools that are useful, engaging, elegant and leave the world a better place than she found it.
When not coding things, she runs a small but vibrant publishing company, Luna Station Press, writes articles about web technologies, and writes stories that have nothing to do with code at all.
She also enjoys video games, comics books, reading, and making things out of wood, wool, and paper.
